Properties to Rent
Viewings - To arrange a viewing please call our office on 01636311500 or 07772065212.
Applications - Upon finding a property you like you will need to visit the office to fill in an application form and pay a holding fee to secure the property which will be no more than one weeks rent. Once the tenancy has been completed this fee will then be added to your Advanced rent.
Tenancy agreement- Smartmove use a standard 6 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy for all our houses and rooms.
Occupancy - Once you’ve moved in you’re expected to look after the property, pay your rent on time and keep us advised of any problems. Smartmove are on hand 24/7 for any Major emergency.
Rent - Rent is normally paid weekly. However as long as the rent is paid in advance it can be paid monthly.
Utilities - As well as rent if you move into a smartmove property you will also be expected to pay your own utilities, this includes- Gas, Electric, Water, Council tax. However if you rent a room these utilities are included in the price of the rent. All Houses of Multiple Occupancy (Rooms) have internet at the properties also included in the rent.
